How often do you find people who have never married whether they have kids or not?

I think although it may not be as common in some areas still common in others to find people who have never been married before. I think overall it is socially expected that people get married once they reach legal age to have children but still a personal choice and therefore not mandated. I think it is interesting still to find people who have never been married and I think this shows to an extent perhaps that the person stayed busy and did things with their lives to avoid letting a feeling of loneliness develop to such an extent that depression set in or more serious desperation like they have to be with someone or their lives are pointless! I think it is good to have a healthy attitude about that. I did learn of an actress who had never married: Pam Grier.
