I am wanting to make Christmas ornaments out of styrofoam and glitter-what kind of sealant should I use?

I just want different size styrofoam that I can paint with Craft paint and then sprinkle them in glitter-but I think I need something to seal it with to keep the glitter from falling off-any suggestions??
