My Yamaha blaster wont move?

Ok so i have a 99 blaster and the clutch cable snapped so i had to purchase a new one i just installed it...it start up perfectly and idles smooth...i pull the clutch in and shift into 1st it immediately jumps forward and stalls out. Then i let it warm up a little and i put it into first and give it gas and she wont move at all. What could it be?
