Could my mom be pregnant?

My mom is 46 and just started going through menopause. She hasn't had her cycle for 6 months, and my dad was fixed after my little brother was born 16yrs ago. I know through nursing that menopause is a long process. Could the procedure lessen over the years, and could my mom be pregnant or it's just menopause?
