Please algebra parabola help?

how do you find the domain, range, axis of symmetry, increases, decreases, x-intercepts, y-intercept, minimum value, maximum value, and continuous of this equation (x^2-x-2) or any other equation. It is not that i want somebody else to do my work is just that i look all over the place to understand this but i just can't i have a TI-83 Plus and i read somewhere that you can use that to find all these BUT DO YOU DO IT!! if you can do it manually i'm fine with it but please please help me.
