Was humanity's original ancestor not Adam or Eve, but LUCA?

Well yeah, if creationism teaches that everything just magically appeared out of nothing. I don't know what exactly is taught, but I believe God created all things, but that evolution is possible. Evolution doesn't effect a Catholic at all (it shouldn't).
