Has anyone noticed the "Texas. Our Texas." billboards along the Interstates in Texas?

They're just bragging about how big the state is. If this is true then it's STUPID! The government can spend money on more important things than egotistical billboards. I'm a Texan and can't wait until I move to San Francisco for clean air and walking paths.
